you laugh at every word trying hard to be cute

So last night I watched the whole Laguna Beach thing.  I am mystified as to why I allow myself to be so consumed by it....the people on it drive me crazy.  I used to want to live in Cali now I don't think I could handle it.  Everyone seems so full of themselves, but somehow I can't stop watching.  It bothers me...it all seems very superficial.  I don't understand either why everyone thinks that Stephen guy is so hot, I don't even think he's remotely good looking.  Actually I don't think any of the guys are.  The girls are pretty though, but it looks like it takes them 5 hours to get ready.  I'm sure all of the girls here would look pretty damn good if they spent 5 hours getting ready.  For the most of us it's sweats and tshirts.  I like it that way.  If they made a show called Ottawa, the Real LS. C. (the real LaSalle County) I doubt there would be many viewers lol.  I don't think any of us get limos to go bowling....

Sunday I was extremely bored and found myself watching an hour of "Shark Week" on Discovery (I know I'm that cool).  Anywayysss...I fell asleep for a little bit but when I woke up they were talking about a shark that was found in the Mississippi River in St. Louis. Crazy.  That's freaking scary.  I think it was dead....I thought that sharks couldn't live in fresh water?  It was kinda big, too.  God can you imagine if a shark turned up in the Illinois River...ahhh.  I've been afraid of sharks forever.  Jaws was the first scary movie I ever saw and it scarred me for life.

So it hit me today that my summer is almost over.  I have 16 days left.  Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to get to PU, but I need to pack in some fun stuff very quickly.  Sunday us girls are gonna head up to Great America/Hurricane Harbor.  That should be a good time.  Donny leaves today for yet another flipping baseball tournament.  If I watch 1 more baseball game I'll probably throw up.  If they lose they'll be back Thursday if they win they'll be there for like a week.  Hopefully he's done after this, cuz we have some serious fishing, hiking, and canoeing to get done.  We do go swimming a lot at his aunts though which is fun, I think I'm gonna head over there today before he leaves.

I've gone on about 6 dorm shopping trips.  It's amazing like the stuff I had to get....like...chip clips? Haha...it's so weird.  I don't know how we're gonna transport all this stuff.  I still have to get about 50 fans cuz my lovely dorm has no air conditioning...wonderfulllllll....I cannotttt sleep when it's really hot.  At least I'm on the second floor and not like the 10th, cuz heat rises.  I haven't gotten any clothes yet.  It sucks cuz I've spent 4 years buying dress clothes and I'll probably never wear them again.

The weather's been crazy lately.  I was out running 1 day and it was really nice all the sudden it started pouring.  I like running in the rain though, but not when it's storming.  It's not as hot out today, and it's kind of windy.

I spent about an hour giving myself a french manicure.  It's time consuming but I like it!  It's also tricky.

Well this was pointless, I was just bored.  And I am on my laptop which is fun so I just wanted to play around with it.  Ok laaaaater gators.
